Why always for the PS3?

Some of you may be reading and noticing that I mostly review multiplatform titles on the PS3 – and I just wanted to quickly give an explanation of why, before questions arise. There really are 2 reasons for this.

First and foremost, I just enjoy the ps3 more. The controller is more comfortable for me to use, the interface is friendlier, and it is a more powerful system from a hardware perspective.

Secondly, I’ve been looking at a lot of other review websites, and the trend there is the oppositeĀ – they seem to all review the 360 version. So I figure, people who like the ps3 should have a place unaffiliated with Sony(no offense, but it’s hard to be unbiased when they’re paying your bills ;)) where they can go to get reviews of the multiplatform games they love on the console they want to play. So if you’re looking for ps3 reviews of your favourite multiplatforms – here’s the place to get ’em since most of the other big review sites don’t want to give ’em to ya!

As an aside, I do have a 360, and I do play games on it – so if exclusives come up that I want to play, there will be 360 reviews posted here. Or if I happen to be given a review copy of a game for the 360, I will review it.

  • I think this is a great idea. There are so many websites that review multiplatform games on the 360 that it is hard to find other reviews for other systems.

It doesn’t hurt that the PS3 has a blue ray player either! I will admit that was half the reason I purchased it.
