Just for Fun: Bombermine

It’s been a rough time for me right now… my grandmother is in the hospital after a heart attack. That has made a lot of things rather difficult for me, and have also made me need distractions. Well, that leads me into looking for little things to do… things like Bombermine.

Some of you may know that I’ve been a gamer for over 20 years, so I remember both Bomberman and Super Bomberman very fondly. Super Bomberman was one of the best couch multiplayer games ever made, and was the game that first brought 4-player multiplayer to consoles, if memory serves. With how well multiplayer Super Bomberman worked, and how much fun I had back in the day… I can say I’m extremely excited to see someone take it to the next level.

Massively Multiplayer Online Free to Play Bomberman

Yes, let that settle in… bomberman, with huge 200+ player servers, with near-constant action. And it is being run on a donation basis, so you can play for free but if you like it as much as I do… you’ll probably find a reason to donate.

They have all the powerups you know and love. More bombs, bigger flame, the boot, speed boosts, etc… but they also have special crazy things like a rainbow debuff that just makes you constantly lay all your bombs, or a ‘Kenny’ form(yes, as in Kenny from South Park) that can’t do anything, and a debuff that makes you invisible, among others.

But really, when it comes to a game like this… none of that matters. What matters is the fact that it is crazy, chaotic, insane fun. It’s a constant source of explosive entertainment. If you are, like me, looking for something to take your mind off of your problems, or just blow something up… you can’t do much better than Bombermine.
