I can’t believe it’s December already. We’re nearing the end of the year, into the Christmas season(also known as the Christmas lull), well into our Autumn anime season – in fact nearing the end – and just generally into a quiet time.
As far as game releases go, there isn’t a whole lot to talk about. Sad to say that the only game I’m aware of that’s coming out this month at all is the PSVita version of Terraria. Fortunately, what this does give me is a good chance to get caught up on everything else going on. I’ve been playing Guided Fate Paradox lately, as well as Valhalla Knights 3. I just recently finished up with the PS3 version of Diablo 3 as well as Pokémon X and Resogun. Still struggling my way through Kingdom Hearts, and yes – it truly is a struggle. I’m also planning to pick up at least one of the Ys games for the Vita, not sure which yet – might be Memories which just came out but I’ll have to see.
On the anime front, I’ve been watching Kill La Kill, Strike the Blood, and there are a few others among the Autumn season I’m keeping my eye on. As we approach the end of the season, I’ll be starting to write up some pieces for them. Sorry to say, this is going to be another slow month for anime unless I manage to finish up one of the shows I’m watching. I’m going to be trying to do another AMV spotlight as well this month, as it has been a while! Finally, if anyone has any recommendations for anime I haven’t reviewed yet or AMVs you’d like me to spotlight, post them below and I’ll take a look at them!
Fortunately, there’re still a number of things I am planning to write. First and foremost, I will be continuing my Most Anticipated of 2014 series every Tuesday leading up to New Years. This week will be my most anticipated Wii-U titles of next year. Additionally, I have a review of Resogun in the works, to finish off my PlayStation 4 coverage – should be up in the next day or two. Additionally, my next piece after Tuesday will be an impressions post for Diablo 3’s console version, and then sometime following that will come a review of Pokémon X. I’m doing another Muses piece, this time discussing the Kinect, PlayStation Camera, and my thoughts on that whole mess. Last, but certainly not least, I’ll have my end of the year awards, and I believe I will be incorporating anime into these this year as I was able to watch several of this year’s new shows.
