Weekly Recommendations – Energetic Assortment

So I’m working a ridiculously, absurdly early shift this week… and I’m going to need some high energy shows and anime to keep me awake. Here are some of the good ones I’ll be relying on to maintain my energy for this week.

Angel Beats (Anime)

Angel Beats is one of those anime that is just incredibly fun to watch… it has a hilarious premise, entertaining characters and amazing music. And, most importantly, even though it does have a pretty deep story – you don’t need to really understand it or pay much attention to it to enjoy the show. It’s just icing on the cake. That makes it the perfect anime to just enjoy when you want something fun and fast.

Rayman: Origins (Game)

Rayman Origins is one of the best platformers I’ve ever played… it’s a high paced, exciting, and incredibly difficult platformer that will force you to wake up and pay attention. But more important than anything else, it’s simply so much fun that you won’t even care that you had to wake up at 4:30… okay, maybe you still will but you won’t remember it for a bit.

Nanana’s Buried Treasure (Anime)

If you’re looking for something that’s got a good high pace and some unique entertainment… Nanana’s Buried Treasure is hard to explain, but it’s basically an anime version of Tomb Raider or Relic Hunter except there’s an actual ghost and the relics aren’t hidden in ancient ruins, but rather modern labyrinths with fascinating technological puzzles. It’s a lot of fun, and there’s a pretty cool backstory too – definitely a good pick me up for when you’re feeling worn out or tired.

Hopefully these picks help you stay awake too – and if you liked them, as always, please feel free to leave a comment below. And if you have any recommendations, do share!
