The Blade’s Edge – April Update

Happy Birthday to me! Sorry guys, some of the content I’d planned to do this week had to get delayed as I’ve started year 31 of my illustrious life with a flu and a tumble down the stairs. It’s been a rough couple of days, but I’m recovering and getting back on track. This is looking to be another busy month for me, so I’m excited for it!

On Friday, I finally finished the last review from 2015 with Trails in the Sky Second Chapter. I’m sorry it’s taken so long, but with two Trails games in the last couple months of the year… well I hope you all can forgive me. I also got my reviews of the charming Unravel and the ambitious Hex: Shards of Fate out over the course of the month. Finally, and most excitingly for me, I started what I like to call the Shadow’s Sixty earlier last month! This list will, over the course of the next few months, count down my 60 favourite games of all time, and you can find the first entry here. Now that we’ve talked about what last month held… let’s talk about why this month is going to be so crazy.

Memory

The first, and most notable, cause is the end of the Winter anime season. Yep, the long frozen cold has come and gone, and now we get to review the many interesting shows this season had to offer. I’ve finished watching 3 of the shows, so far, so reviews of those should be forthcoming in the next week or two. And over the course of the next month or so, we should get at least 8 shows reviewed from Winter. The first review will be for the unique psychological mystery Erased. I’m hoping that one will be only a few days away!

Additionally, I’m making pretty good progress through Nights of Azure, so that review will most likely be this month. And following that, I’ll be playing the upcoming Ratchet and Clank reboot, which I am very excited for. But let’s take a step back. The gaming content hasn’t ended just because the anime stuff is about to begin, oh no… we still have my 2015 year-end wrap up post, which – due to a lack of games last year – is going to be the best of the year overall including both anime and gaming. And, just as excitingly, I’ll have my next entry of the Shadow’s Sixty, covering games 54 to 49, within a couple of days, most likely. So keep your eyes peeled for that.

Finally, my next Selubration date is still up in the air, but keep your eyes on my twitter account or on my stream for an update regarding that! Most likely it’ll be either the 23rd or the 30th though!
