It’s the middle of June. How did it get to be the middle of June? It feels like it was just my birthday… but months have passed. It’s been a crazy year so far, and I’m truly sorry for not writing more for you all these past 6 months.
The reason I’m writing this is to give a bit of an understanding into why I haven’t been writing and to try to set some expectations going forward – hopefully ones I can live up to. I also want to give some info about my new plans for my stream. There is a lot to talk about. I’ve been putting a lot of thought into what I want to do and how I want to approach both my website and my stream going forward.
I hope you’ll take the time to read this and share any thoughts you have on these ideas with me.
So 2017 came before I knew it. Crazy. Hard to believe another entire year has passed. It’s been a few months since I’ve done one of these updates, and this seemed like a good time. 2016 was a very busy year, but a good one. So today we’re going to take a quick look back at what 2016 gave us, and a bit of a look forward first at the rest of January and then at the rest of the year.
Hello everyone, and welcome to 2016! Much like last year, I’m pretty happy with how things are going… so I don’t plan to make any huge sweeping changes. I do have some minor improvements I’d like to work on, most notably to my stream, but for the moment I don’t foresee any major changes for the website. That being said, let’s talk about some of the minor plans I have long-term, as well as what you can expect for January, shall we?
It’s hard to believe it’s November already. Not only has time flown…. but we don’t even have snow yet. What type of November doesn’t have snow? Oh right… the good type.
And what an insanely busy October it has been, in every possible way. I got most of my summer anime reviews done -the last one is almost ready – there were numerous lengthy games that came out this past month which have been positively devouring my time, the summer anime reviews which needed to be written, a convention, and a variety of illnesses to deal with. It’s been crazy… but it has been a great type of crazy – except the illnesses, could do with a few less of those.
Apparently I completely missed it becoming October. That shows something, but I’m not quite sure what! So let’s get some info about what is to happen this month, and what’s happened last month.
October has Hallowe’en, the first games to come that I’m actually likely to buy in a while, the start of a really busy time in many ways, and the end of the summer anime season. September started a bit slow, but has rounded out to be really fast. This month I finished an amazing JRPG that I sadly missed last year, Fairy Fencer F, I’ve started my summer reviews with School-Live! and Classroom Crisis over the past week, and a Shadow’s Six list focused on the adorable characters that have stolen my heart over the past year and a half.
This is the start of what is likely to be a very busy month, with Hallowe’en, an anime season’s end, new game releases, and a convention…
